Mischief Managed

One simply siphons the excess thoughts from one's mind, pours them into the basin, and examines them at one's leisure. It becomes easier to spot patterns and links, you understand, when they are in this form.

Date With Devonport

Last weekend, Neil and I caught a ferry to Devonport. I haven’t been there for a long time so it was a nice small day trip. The only bad thing was that I had a cold so I was sniffling and spluttering all day.

As we were leaving Auckland City I really felt like jumping into the water. It was a lovely sunny day.

A nice view of Auckland City. I haven’t been out on a boat for so long. Even though the trip only takes about 10 minutes, it was nice to be on the ocean.

Devonport was looking quite nice.

We walked to North Head and ran around through the military tunnels.

And then sat down at the top to look at the view like a couple of old people.

We found a playground and I couldn’t help but play on the swings.

After having a drink and some fish and chips we caught the ferry home.

This dog we found on the boat completed my Sunday trip.
